When Animals do Human-Like Things

So yeah, I'm not quite dead yet, despite my absence from the blogging. Been busy with work for QJ, some boooooring website design work for a travel agency, and some design work for a company that's making a videogame. All in all, fairly boring stuff.

However, I figured that even if I can't put up new pages of the Robot's Story just yet, I can at least put up some pics of home.

I think what I like most about these pictures is that they look so much like your drawings. The way the furniture is spaced, the patterns on the baskets, and especially the beautiful plants and trees. It's like I misunderstood you and Shof's style of drawing and design for what is actually the direct influence of your surroundings. But I guess that is a pretty natural way to craft an aesthetic. Thanks for sharing these!

I'd really like to see more shots of the living room Shobo, but thanks for posting these.

I see that another one of Mummy's plates is broken and the spot where the couch used to be is a lovely shade of pink. Oh and yeah it would look perfect if there was a larger TV in that space. teehee.

Jon, good eye, I never really considered that myself to be honest.

Shof, I'll definitely see about getting some more pics taken, I've also re-arranged the bedroom (well, mummy did that actually, I think she wanted to make me feel more at home).

Yes, a bigger TV would be nice, but that's at least 150,000 naira out of reach right now :P

Why thank you Evan that's very kind of you to say!

However it looks very different in the flesh, and there are tons of bugs and creepy crawlies all over the place that make it not quite as pleasant as it might otherwise appear.
